SO MANY PROSTITUTES ABOUND YET PEDOHPILES CHOOSE KIDS! SICKENING!!

Saw this this pictured post as seen on the right a couple of months back and had to go dig it up again as soon as this topic came up in order to drive home my point.

Not too long ago I wrote ‘no situation is too big enough to make a man commit suicide’. And someone called me up to say “guess you may want to clarify some things around that notion after reading this”. I didn’t like the tone of that caller until after I read what he sent.

Inasmuch as I hate the word ‘suicide’, I hereby, like the caller, proffer it to all those unrepentant pedophiles, rapists and their counterparts whose ‘stock in trade’ is causing pain and havoc on their victims irrespective of their age to take the route of ‘suicide’ before the wrath of God, hands of the law and angry mob get to them. Hell is no doubts waiting for them with open arms.

I still don’t get it why some ‘useless’ men would defile children in the name of pleasure when there are cheap and very available ‘runs’ girls who have taken prostitution to different levels all over the place hence with as little as a token, such men would get all the pleasures they desire but alas, they would rather go and defile young innocent girls including the boys who are no longer spared in the nefarious, abominable and unforgiving acts.

Gosh! Some men are so sick.

I know we’ve heard stories upon stories about how young children are defiled and abused on a daily basis, by neighbours, uncles, fathers and even those who ought to be called spiritual leaders over them. God! The list is endless.

Though we keep hearing such stories, I still got nauseous when I read about how one Ikechukwu Alu, a trader at a market on 23 Road, Festac Town, Lagos, was arrested for allegedly abducting and raping a seven-year-old girl, Victoria.

When I saw the headline, I was like “oh not again”!

According to reports as gathered from the Punch, little Victoria was in search of a supposed missing recharge card that she was said to have misplaced on her way from buying it when she was abducted by the alleged Pedophile, Alu who obviously may have lured her with a promise to help her find the card having being chased out of the home for misplacing it in the first place.

Obviously, the little girl does not stay with her parents else they wouldn’t have chased her out at that time of the night to go look for it.

Nevertheless, if they are her parents, well “it’s a big shame” on them just that it’s sad that it was the little girl who got the ‘hurts’ from their action if the report as published in the Punch is really true. I so wish it isn’t true. But then, Punch is come too far to publish incredible stories as true.

Details of what the little girl went through the entire night is only known to the ‘shameless’ Alu, the little girl and of course God as it was gathered they both spent the night in the shop in a nearby market in Amuwo Odofin where she lives until 5am until when he was accosted by residents who saw him leaving the place with the little girl strapped to his back.

Why ‘strapped to the back’? You may want to ask. I guess, according to a commentator who spoke on the issue, “the little girl was either too weak or it was meant to be a ritual”. Beats me!

The caller mentioned that sometimes, especially in cases like this, where evidence is glaring, jungle justice makes a lot of sense hence those residents should have lynched him straightaway instead of just pouring ash on him particularly after the little girl narrated how he abused her all through the night as she was quoted to have said Alu had “put his thing (manhood) in my bum-bum”.

What a messy world we live in.

Now you may want to ask, where were the parents or is it guardians in all of this drama? They should take most of the blame for letting that girl out at that time of the night.

It was further reported that after a test was carried out on seven year old Victoria at Mirabel Centre at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, there was confirmation that she was indeed raped yet Alu who was arraigned before an Apapa Magistrate’s Court on one count of rape, pleaded guilty and was granted bail with a paltry sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.

Hmmm! This is indeed a shambolically messed up world!!

THE KILLER BRA

Let me start by asking, hey ladies! How often do you wash your bras? Especially that  ‘best bra’ that is worn nearly every day of the week.

Just recently, I saw a posh looking lady walk past me on the streets wearing a sleeveless top on a pair of dark blue denim and then the first impression of ‘poshness’ waned as soon I  my eyes caught the ‘off-white’  bra straps which were sticking out with dirt marks on them. Thereafter, I recalled a story of how one of my childhood friends was almost raped many years ago but was oddly saved by the state of her bra. It does sound interesting, doesn’t it?

As funny as it sounds, this is a real-life story. The said lady who years ago was just a young girl barely in her twenties, went to see her supposed ‘new’ boyfriend whom after much persuasion had only just decided to give the guy a try by agreeing to go on a date with him with a promise that they were going to take things slow and then would take it to the next level as they progressed.

On that fateful day, they both went out in the ‘boyfriend’s’ father’s car as he was still living at home with his parents since  according to him, he had only just secured employment  with a financial institution having just graduated from the university hence would take a while before he got his own apartment.

And so after the outing on that day, rather than take the lady home, he decided to stop at a friend’s place with the excuse that he needed to pick up some things and so invited her to come along for a few minutes which she obliged him.  But funny enough, at the friend’s place, as soon as she got introduced to the friend and the exchange of pleasantries was over, the friend disappeared from sight and while they were both left alone in the sitting room, the young man pounced on her in an attempt to rape her.

At first it seemed like a joke but when she realised it was no joke, she screamed for help hoping his friend would emerge from within the house to help but no one not even the friend came to her rescue.

And then, Just when she had given up fighting as the guy proved a lot stronger than her, she was speechless to see the shock on the guy’s face when he eventually tore open her blouse to behold the state of her bra which was by-a-far-cry less than what he expected and as soon as he got  over his shock said “what kind of dirty bra is this”?  *laughs* and then immediately let go of the lady who was no longer struggling at the time.

The guy dropped her off at home and he never returned again. And of course, when I saw her later in the day at her place, while in her bedroom with her, she started off the discussion by asking “can what looks like a dirty bra make a man leave you”? And when I asked her why she was asking such a question, she replied by saying “I was almost raped today but as soon as the guy saw this” pulling out a bra out of the heap of laundry on the floor by her wardrobe, “he let go of me”.

As soon as she lifted up the bra and dangled it in my face, I went “oh no way! What is this? This to me is not ‘what looks like a dirty bra’ my friend! This is a dirty bra by all standards. Don’t tell me you wore this out on a date”.

Looking very embarrassed  at my outburst, she said  “but take a look at it properly” pushing the bra closer to my face even as I pulled away “the thing is not really dirty, it’s just the colour that has turned brownish as it originally was pure white when I got it”.

At that point I said “oh it used to be white girlfriend, but it’s no longer white. That’s the more reason why you shouldn’t have worn it on a date in the first place”. Without touching the bra, I pointed towards the armpit areas while she still held it up and added “just take a look at these areas, you can see dirt marks which indicate that you’ve worn this bra for some time without washing hence the greasy marks. If you asked me, I’d say this is a killer bra”.

She gave up arguing, flung the bra back on the heap of laundry and sat back heavily on her bed with a sigh of despondency even as I reeled off in laughter which of course she didn’t find funny but then I couldn’t help myself. From that day and many years after while we were still in touch, my friend made sure she bought only black and coloured bras and most importantly wore a bra at most thrice a week and washed them at least twice every week . I am sure she still does till date as we’ve not seen for a longtime now. *Just wondering where she is at the moment though*. We lost contact a couple of years ago but then every time I see a bra, especially a dirty one, I remember her and her ‘killer’ bra incident.

So I went to town and asked a couple of ladies on how often they wash their bras. With a promise to keep them anonymous, some of them had these to say:

The first lady said “One bra for two days, because I don’t wear black bras, I wear either white or multi-coloured as it’s easier to tell when they are dirty.  And I think wearing dirty bras is really a bad habit.

Another lady who was asked said “I have a lot of bras but then I have one very best one that I sometimes wear nearly every day” and when asked how often she washes the ‘best bra’ she replied in a very honest way “probably once in two weeks”.

The third lady who was hilarious said “honestly speaking, as soon as you asked this question, I just realized that I haven’t washed any of my bras in three months now”. She laughed as soon as she saw me looking amazed and then continued “you are shocked right? The truth is, I have up to six bras that I have been changing back to back for the past few months so I can’t really tell the last time I washed any of them as I pick anyone up  whenever I dress up depending on which one my hand gets to first” she continued laughing and quickly walked away.

Hmmm! How about that? Amazing, so amazing.

However, as honest as she sounded, I still want to say this to all the ladies out there not to get too busy that there can’t wash their bras at least twice every week. Save yourselves body smells, rashes and other skin diseases around the breast, armpit and chest areas as a result of dried up sweat and dirt which stick on the bras as we go about active on a daily basis. No matter how good a perfume is, when a bra is dirty, it will ooze a different/repulsive fragrance when mixed with that beautiful perfume.

I also spoke with a guy, who said “there is nothing that puts me off as much as dirty under
clothing, not just bras. I just can’t stand such sights. No matter how pretty a lady looks on the outside, once I realize she has a penchant for unclean undies or seriously worn out ones, I get put-off BIG TIME ”.

Now ladies, don't forget that the bra is a woman's best friend. So as you keeping strapping away on a daily basis, remember to keep them clean and in good state all the time and do way with them as soon as they get worn out.

Before I go, let the men ponder on this as well “how often do you wash your boxers”?

That’s a topic for another time. Bye for now!

ENOUGH SAID, LEAVE THE DEVIL OUT OF THIS!

Someone said “Devil don (has) suffer(ed)”. Now *laughs* I can depict that look and hear you scream “WHAT the hell are you talking about?” right now. Yeah, you bet I can. Before you go getting upset, that was exactly the same way I reacted when I heard it.

What do you expect? Why wouldn’t the person utter such statements when everywhere/every time an offender is caught, he/she attribute it to be the fault of the devil? There are some things people do at times and you will not need anyone to tell or convince you that the so-called ‘devil’ had no hand whatsoever in it.

Trust me on this one. There are some things that the devil will not need to bother about making you do as it’s already a habit that is in you and so without discipline, you do them and thereafter blame the devil for it.

Or how would you explain a man raping a two year old girl and then says “it’s the devil’s fault” when he’s caught. My God! A lot of men are dirty PERVERTS. I said ‘a lot’ because we still have ‘a few good men’. Count yourselves lucky, all those who have some of those ‘few good men’. *winks*

Now back to the matter.

Every day we read on the papers, social media and even hear by word-of-mouth how men abuse children including toddlers and teenagers in Nigeria, Africa and all over the world on a daily basis and it is fast becoming a norm. The most painful part of these stories is that nearly all cases are carried out by those supposedly ‘trusted’ family members/friends who the parents of these children trust to a fault that these abusers ‘can rarely hurt a fly’ talk less of hurting the entrusted children under their care.

Few weeks ago a woman raised alarm when she realised that her neighbour who is a teacher brings home pupils every day to have carnal knowledge with them until he was caught. Two days ago it was news about a 56year old man who had been consistently raping a 13year old girl who he was supposed to be counseling. Today it is a 50year old man and a 2year old baby! A baby!! A harmless, innocent baby, which every sane human being ought to protect.

The ‘IDIOT’ (I say this without apologies) who raped the baby said he was under the influence of an evil spirit and went on to say “even as I am standing before you, I do not know what came over me and what had really happened. Someone came to my house and told me something serious was going to happen to me but I did not take it seriously.”

This is a downright RUBBISH excuse! The evil spirit did not direct him to go patronise a prostitute who will charge him little or no-fee to satisfy his urge. People make all kinds of excuses for their devilish choices and heap it on the devil. He already had it (pervert/pedophile urges) in him so he should not blame it all on the devil.

I get really ANGRY and MAD when I hear such. Okay, let the devil take the blame as well when he gets hanged by his ‘hell-bent’ Pen*s. And may the authorities take out his testes/balls and feed him with them while he’s still hanging by is Pen*s. Let the authorities do same to all sexual offenders maybe it would deter others. When I say sexual offenders must be punished, I do not in any way mean only men. The women who also abuse little boys and girls (lesbianism and trafficking) should also be severely punished as well.

A lot of you will say “it’s no longer news to hear such as it happens every day”. Another group of people would say “there’s nothing we can do as it has always been happening from the days of our forefathers”.

I know it does happen every day, because a lot of cases are left unreported. But be that as it may, must we allow this to keep happening? What do we do about it?
Once again, I concur that it has been from time immemorial, but we can help to gradually reduce this menace by paying more attention to our (and even our neighbours’) wards/kids. Don’t just leave them (boys/girls) in the hands or under the care of helpers, uncles, aunties, even fathers as we have heard cases of fathers who also sexually abuse their children.

Teach your children to speak out and let you into happenings in their lives as this will help you see warning signals on time. Remind them on a daily basis that they can talk to you on ANYTHING. Answer their questions on sex so that they don’t get the wrong answers elsewhere.

Again, this crazy trend of parents dressing up little children in provocative (adult-like) clothes for events or any form of outing should be completely STOPPED.

Enough said already! If you have more to add, then with all pleasure, be my guest!!

And don’t forget REPORT ANY SUSPECTED CASE and help that child.
